We Moved

Well folks, we officially moved to Naperville yesterday. Boo, hiss sadness all around. But with these tough times, saving money will help us out in the long run. If you have not gotten our new address yet, please e-mail me and i will sent it to you. But once we get all unpack and living like real people again, I will post some new belly shots.

Baby Shower

Yesterday was the first of two baby showers (that I know about) and it was fun times had by all. We ate great food, had yummy cake and opened up many presents. The hubby was good and supportive and spilled his drink all down the side of my dress. We have a wide range of 3-6 month clothes which is good, long sleeves and short dresses. Fall in Chicago, you need to have both. We got some of the bigger items like monitors, pack-in-play, bath tub and the stroller that rocks. I made a short inventory in my head of what we will still need and I will post that after we move. Speaking of, to all the family members that came, I will do the thank you notes after we move because there is no way I am dealing with that stress right now with all the other stresses I have to do this week. busy busy busy. The hubby and I would still like to thank everyone for coming and for all the lovely gifts. I am pretty sure we will have future pictures of our little one in the clothes, bouncy seat and other items so you can see the little one using it.

Almost been a week

since I last blog about the pregnancy and life and all that jazz. So the big updates would be that I finally got a job working for Primerica as a financial counselor. It will be part time at first to work its way up to full time at a later date when life of moving and baby slows down a bit. Also, we got a new bed. We are waiting for it right now. It is one of those memory form mattresses from Sealy. We got an insane deal on it for a Queen set. Hopefully, that will make my back stop hurting as much as it has been in the last few days. We are going to be starting to look for a new place starting this saturday so if you want to make any plans with us while we are out in the burbs let us know. :)

More Baby Registries

So we register at two more place today to get more of the fun items. We registry at PotteryBarnKids.com due to a really cute Dr. Suess bedding. So honestly, the bedding and a few toys and the storage baskets are all the things we would like from PBK. The list is not very long at all. Then we register at LandofNod.com because it has a great children's music selection and the cloth diapers and the slings. So mainly from the two registries we pick today, would be to get more of the fun kid items. We would hope that people would just get the few select items because they are fun. Also, in terms of the toys, we wanted to give people ideas for Chirstmas and other random gifts. So we are not really expecting much from them other then the mention items.

We may or may not be moving out by the end of May. Our landlord wants to think about it due to be able to rent out our current place. Grr..this one will be a fight. Also, since we are giving her enough notice for the issue she would be able to have enough time to rent this place out and this should be her problem not ours. UPDATE: She will be letting us out at May 31 so we should have no problem. Then we are going to be having a shower the following weekend for the baby since we will already be moved into our new place.
